1.Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur

Jag Niwas Palace floats on Lake Pichola, (in Udaipur) like a white magnificence on hues of blue! This white palace got made from 1743 to 1746 by Maharana Jagat Singh II (it was more like a summer retreat palace for the royal family). This property then got converted into a luxury hotel (very first of its kind) in 1960 and is managed by Taj Group of Hotels.

Apart from the wonderful location, there are many other reasons why you should book a night at this magnificent and luxurious palace hotel. There are about 18 suits in this hotel and 65 plush rooms; each of these rooms will provide you a magnificent view (like city palace, Machla Magra Hills, The Aravalli and Jag Mandir).

This luxurious hotel houses 70 rooms & suits, where all the rooms have wonderful deco-style. The property is surrounded by marvelous garden, which is a sight to behold, especially in morning. There is also an indoor pool (can also be called as Zodiac pool) with images of all 12 zodiac signs on the floor. While you are in the property, do not forget to check out the museum built within the property itself.

3. Rambagh Palace, Jaipur

This palace was constructed in 1835 and was lately the residence of Maharani Gayatri Devi and Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II. This property was then converted to a luxury hotel by Taj Group. This architectural beauty (you should see the hand-carved “Jalis” on marble, “Chattris”, and sandstone balustrades in this palace) is now a 78-room hotel (got converted in 1957) and is known as the “Jewel of Jaipur”.

This property is made in 32 acre and the uniqueness of this palace is that it is made in the shape of a Scorpio (inspired from the lead architect, William Mariet’s sun-sing!).

However, you will need to note the Scorpion shape by staling around the palace as there is no ariel view present for this palace; a pro tip: you should go on this search with a partner who would be as excited as you to check out the property (because it is going to be daunting) or you should take the solo trip experience.
